RGS Upland Bird Hunt - Featured Artist

It was an honor to be the featured artist for the 2023 RGS Upland Bird Hunt, an event the St Marys PA chapter has been hosting for years. During the grand banquet, I was able to meet and speak with some fine folks, while painting a unique piece, that would be auctioned later during the event, as a RGS fundraiser.

The piece titled 'Escape By Moonlight' captured an American Woodcock taking flight by the light of a full harvest moon. As we're all too familiar with the elusiveness of Woodcock, and the covers they visit, during October.
