'Gibson'
A commissioned 8x10 Graphite Illustration of Gibson, a Weimaraner from Michigan.
With this piece, the client wanted to commemorate her very first bird dog, Gibson. The illustration features a particularly special hunt, after Gibson recovered from a health scare prior to hunting season.
Much of Amanda's work is inspired by favorite covers, and true stories of days spent behind her setters. Each piece is slowly formed by memory, revisited by notes and reference photos, and finally composed by hand.
